юр., торг., брит. право удержания товаров продавцом, не получившим плату* (согласно закону "О продаже товаров" 1979 г., продавец, не получивший плату от покупателя, имеет право задержать у себя проданные этому покупателю товары и утрачивает это право в случае оплаты, поставки этого товара перевозчику или зависимому держателю с целью передачи их продавцу без оставления за собой права распоряжаться товарами, в случае когда покупатель или его агент законно вступают во владение товарами, или путем отказа от своего права)
